We know polls usually tighten as election day nears. Now, does this mean McCain is gaining on Obama's tax plan and Ayers - or is this normal?
Obama has a history of not closing the deal, or are people who are unsure about Obama breaking to McCain?
I find it very telling that with the liberal media giving Obama nonstop glowing coverage, their constant attacks on Palin and McCain, the current economic issues, Obama is not up by 20 points in every poll

The polls on the popular vote vary widely.
But what is much more relevant is that Obama either leads or is running neck and neck in each of the battleground states.
As I understand it, given the states that are safely in Obama's column and the states that are safely in McCain's column, McCain has to win every one of the battleground states to reach 270 electoral votes, whereas Obama only has to win one of them.
If McCain loses Florida or Ohio or Virginia or any of the other battleground states, it's all over.

Obama will govern from the center, and you'll still be able to patronize your Piggly Wiggly Supermarket. It won't be the National People's Market #1622.
And you'll still be able to stand up in public and say the president is an idiot.
As for the military, CinC Obama will deploy them judiciously, instead of pulling rationales out of his ass, as he did with Iraq.

Not giving it a rest. obamanation will RULE along with pelosi and reid from the extreme far left. They will not govern. They will nationalize every industry they can get their hands on. Because taxes won't be enough. You will not have freedom of speech. What the fairness doctrine doesn't cover will be covered under racial slurs and hate crimes.
The military will be striped and most likely used to put down any unrest in the country after the three communists get control. And you won't get any news because they will control the media even more than they do now.
