Default They Used to Actually Have to Sing?

Listening to the Righteous Brothers for the first time

So first I have to wonder what cave you live in. Never heard the Righteous Brothers before This person is absolutely shocked and amazed that "way back" in the 60s without electronic support to cover up for one's inability to carry a tune that people actually had to sing for themselves.

    Default

I bought The Beach Boys Pet Sounds Sessions, it has the original album as it was released (mono), a stereo mix, alternate versions of the songs, and a vocals only disc. My favorite is the vocals only. Those boys could really sing...

Their best, most influential album. Brian Wilson is a genius.

They didn't even need the music...
