Default Democrats introduce constitutional amendment to reverse Citizens United campaign fina

I'm not up to snuff on campaign finance as it is currently practiced/abused. My knee-jerk reaction is the Dems must have a way around their own proposed rule of they wouldn't be proposing it. Don't most of their "non-corporate" donations come from "individuals" like Soros, Bezos, et al?

At the same time, it's been my opinion for years and years they need to completely scrap current campaign finance and start over with something fair, honest and reasonable. The money wasted on political campaigns in this this country should be an embarrassment. Probably higher than some countries' total budgets

According to article this is the 10th time he's proposed the same amendment. Methinks it's not a serious proposal. Rarely is a constitutional amendment such, especially from someone like Schiff with three other sponsors.
