OMAHA, Neb. --
Nearly a ton of marijuana was found along Interstate 80 in Omaha on Wednesday afternoon, Douglas County deputies said.
The U.S. Attorney's Office is considering what charges to file in connection with the 1,940 pounds of pot, estimated to be worth more than $3 million. It's the largest seizure ever by Douglas County deputies.
It was confiscated during a traffic stop near 96th Street at about 1 p.m. Wednesday, investigators said.
Deputies arrested 28-year-old Stanley Suojanen of Utah.
Sgt. Ed Van Buren said he was suspicious when he pulled over a camper being driven by Suojanen.
