We bought this from woot 6 months ago? Maybe? Works PERFECTLY, and showed up looking brand-new. I wouldn't recommend buying that vacuum.

LOL! According to the responses on Amazon, great machine and better price even with shipping than Costco.

Well either will get you where you want to go, unless of course it's not working.

On the other hand, vacuum cleaners vary widely regarding performance. I've owned Hoovers, they do a fine job, but not like an Oreck, you can see the difference. My guess from what is said about it picking up sand from carpet, it works better than the Oreck.

absolutely. @ $450 it's a GREAT vacuum. At woot's $200 discount, it's an AMAZING vacuum.

Nah, don't need a vacuum. I got lucky with my grandparents leaving their central vac system here when we bought the place.

Why are you getting rid of it? Dyson's are the best vaccuum's. I own two. THe top end one and also the smaller canister for the Motorhome. I also used to be the Dyson rep and trainer for all the Sears stores in my area when I worked for Sears.
