I hope everyone has on their rapture shoes. Just a few more thousand dying for the holy land should convince god to bring us to him.

As a Christian, a family man and a Mason, I am ready, TS.

But I ain't advocating the end times as you describe, don't you know?

I don't think they are, but if you run across my shoes in the street, and they are empty?......that's probably what happened.......

While noone will know the time of His coming, I do believe it will be soon. There are too many things happening in the world today that fall into line with what was said.

Rapture, well I'm not holding my breath. If it's been this long and hasn't happened there's little chance it'll happen in my lifetime.

look at it this way.....if it doesn't happen in your lifetime, it's gonna happen 5 minutes after it.......or it isn't going to happen at all......

People for 100s of years have 'felt' it could happen ANY MINUTE!
Of course it could. But we need to live for tomorrow, as if there is no tomorrow...if that makes sense.

I was reading through this thread and getting ready to say something just like this except I was going to say 1,000s of years.
Anyway, since you covered it, I will just say I agree with you.

Sorry bout that,
1. But its not any time soon.
2. A lot of things haven't taken place yet.
3. Many things need to be in place before the Lord returns.
4. We are not seeing those things happen yet.
5. Some of the early stuff, yes, but thats it.
6. It may not take place till 2068.

You are correct in saying it may not take place until 2068, but it may take place today. It all goes back to noone will know the time of the Lord's return.
Your other coments are open to debate. There are things that people feel are the later things. I personally don't know. And that is how the Lord want's it.

I hope everyone has on their rapture shoes. Just a few more thousand dying for the holy land should convince god to bring us to him. While I strongly believe that He will soon be after us, I don't believe in the Rapture.

I heard the end was supposed to be around 2012, that would be right at the tail end of Hitlary's term. Sounds about right.
