White balance seems off in quite a few - and I wonder how down-sampled they are? Lacking in over-all image quality - at least from this monitor.

would have loved to been in a kayak when that plane went by. tho, might have dumped me LOL, so maybe a boat would have been cool.

That was great! I especially enjoyed the link to the Nellis AFB Air Show pics. It brought back memories for this AF vet. I was stationed at Nellis AFB for three and half years. The first air show I saw there an F-111 did a high speed, low level, pass at mach 1+, and we got the boom. We were on the roof of our AMU right on the flight line, (Aircraft Maintenance Unit), and when the F-111 went passed, if felt as though we were going to get sucked off the roof. We didn't of course, but it was a real quick surprise.

Very impressive work with a D50, the entry level Nikon from 2005. At only 6.1 megs and a shooting speed of 2.5 frames a sec. these shots are pretty damn good. An airshow is a challenge with any camera but I am amazed at how many frames he was able to capture of the solo pilot coming at him at over 600 miles an hour....... nicely focused and exposures that were pretty consistent. I use an Apple 20" flat panel monitor and they all looked really nice on it, thanks for sharing them with us CP.
I have a Dell 24" and 30" LCD - and while the post-processing is jacked up, the clarity on the jets and - like you pointed out - considering the speeds those jets were going make for some cool pictures nonetheless...
