Sex on the sidewalks? Oy vey. And I'm not sure people are urinating in the streets because they just can't find a toilet. ..

Berkeley, Calif., Cracks Down on Sex on Sidewalks, in Parks
Wednesday, November 28, 2007

It'll be tougher to have sex or smoke on sidewalks or in parks in Berkeley, Calif., after the City Council passed a controversial new measure Tuesday, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The Public Commons for Everyone Initiative cracks down on yelling, littering, camping, drunkenness, smoking, urinating and sex on sidewalks and in parks; the ordinance also provides housing benefits, counseling and public toilets to the university town's homeless population, the paper reports.

"There are people on the streets that we as a society are collectively responsible for," City Councilman Laurie Capitelli told the paper. "I think sometimes people need help fixing their lives, and we collectively have to help people do that."

They had to pass an initiative to deal with these issues? Were there not already laws on the books that covered these issues? What about a sense of humility and common decency?

Of course, "we collectively" doesn't mean whomever happens to trip over the guy in the park. It means GOVERNMENT.

Look in the dictionary under "Modern Liberal ideology", and you'll find this sentence, unaltered.

Yes, let's see. Yes. It's right here in the "Lib Handbook." Chapter 10, section 4.1, third paragraph. *Ahem* "Whenever possible, the good lib should fornicate on the sidewalk, in the street, on park benches, on horseback, in the car, on hot air balloons, against the windows of street cafes, shops and etc. and esp. in churches and other locations that have been deemed "holy" by general consensus. As an aside, when the general consensus infringes upon your Constitutional rights to public fornication by alleging that your "life needs fixing," you are entitled to seek government assistance in order to protect said rights as well as seeking restitution for said libel."
So you see, it actually IS really a part of the official "lib" ideology.

I've never seen anybody try as hard to misunderstand something, as you do.

Practice makes perfect....??
