I bet it's in Russian.... I've actually gone online and checked out the languages in some tunes, just to get an idea of what the words are... Anyway, when you can't understand the words, then you aren't distracted by them, and can just sit and listen to the sound of the music... I have found many from foreign countries that I like. Every tune I post has something about it that I like....

Bad Moon Rising was a Credence song and I just love the way RCW changed the entire tempo ...... gives it an entirely different flavor.

I was a teenager in the 1960's and there were some older outlaw bikers in the neighborhood who were called the Iron Horseman MC.

They were some pretty bad boys...What sticks out in my mind is In a Gadda da Vida was their club's theme song.

I suppose they were the ones that first inspired my passion for big noisey motorcycles and black leather.

I've outgrown much of the biker culture but still love the hardware.

The part that I think is so funny is that when they were singing the song ......... it was so slurred that In The Garden of Eden came out In A Gadda da Vida. :laugh2: guess that is what drugs did to most of the singers of that era.

My husband has a Harley - I think it's a Softtail.......which is a farce because it is not soft on the tail. :laugh2:

Excuse my nonsense at the start, and the sound gets a lil dodgy with the pitch of the music at times but its not come out too badly in my opinion.

Excuse my nonsense at the start, and the sound gets a lil dodgy with the pitch of the music at times but its not come out too badly in my opinion.

Yeah, she had a beautiful voice and was a very big stage star that had loads of singing roles..... She had her throat operated on back in the late 80's or early 90's and couldn't sing for a long, long time....In fact, she may have even stopped doing it publicly altogether, as I'm not sure....can't remember....

I have never heard of these oldie singers but I like themn alot, just like old black n white classic movies !!!! My Step dad would love those cars in the Ed Townsend video...he is an antique car collector. Very Cool !

I have a ton of old bl and white flicks....We've collected movies for eons.... I have some where the movies date back to 1939, but I do not collect silent films or very early talkies.... I love old flicks.....and I've sat and watched some with my grandaughters and now they love them as well.....

me and my sister used to watch the turner classic channel together when we were speaking, and she is the one who got me interested in black n white movies, the first movie we ever watched together was "a face in the crowd"

There are quite a lot of old flicks that are no longer with us....They deteroriated due to the type of film they were on.....So they are lost forever and is the reason why we keep seeing the same old, classic ones over and over. Bette Davis. John Wayne. Joan Crawford. Humphrey Bogart. Lauren Bacall. Clark Gable. Marilyn Monroe. Betty Grable, Lillian Gish and on and on and on.........

I came to this board because I have a lot of respect for one particular Mod here and that is Kathianne !!!!! Yesterday in the "Obama uses a teleprompter" thread on 2 separate posts Kathianne publicly alluded she has discontent with the hyper activity at this board. She has alluded she will probably leave here. If she leaves I will feel the board will be lacking. She is the main reason I chose to post here. She doesn't care for the religion threads and maybe the joking threads take away from serious discussions, at any rate, I would feel horrible if any of my posting styles or topics have drove her away from this place. I don't want to be here with out her. Since she aired it public I think its ok to respond. Hog that song should go to Kathianne !!!! Pshaw, my 'blow up' hasn't a thing to do with anyone in particular. Just my own stress level and serious tendency to be too intense. There are no members posting here for the past couple months at least, that I don't think the world of! Seriously. Oh sometimes I can get ragged at some topic or a derail, but that is my problem, no one else's.

Thank you Chloe and Hog, so very nice of you both! I enjoyed both song. Though no, "I'm sorry," was warranted, other than by myself.
