You can see it in her eyes that she truely lives to produce and perform music. The Grammys and the American Music Awards are a joke.

The best she could do was some fuckin chords!!!!
You really don't know good music; hate to break it to you.

These are people who truley live to perform:
You can see the connection they have with their audience. Look at the faces of the people in the crowd. Its a deep connection that you only get when people go crazy for your music.

He's a bit one dimensional but he definitely has a lot more talent than that dildo Jack White, at least he can hold a note.

I know this might come as a surprise to you kid but my post wasn't directed at you.... you are hopeless, why bother, you're satisfied with the White Stripes:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:.
It was directed at those that enjoyed Tina Dickow (blond bitch according to you.... how very progressive) with Zero 7. I thought that they would enjoy seeing her in another light.
This is much better:

Yea Shania........ who gives a shit.
Even BEYONCE is better than blondie:

Oh boy Beyonce, great singer when she can keep that ghetto influence shit out of her songs, which isn't often. So extremely overproduced and packaged as nothing much more than a dark skinned white sex symbol......overdoes everything. She is a Whitney style train wreck waiting to happen. Really , the only reason anyone watches her is to see if her breast fall out of the really bad looking clothes her mother designs for her.
As for Melissa Etheridge, nobody would know who she was if she wasn't an outspoken symbol for lesbianism. Another who cares? How's her marriage?
And Jack White, I don't think he sucks on guitar... I KNOW he sucks at his pathetic attempts to play the guitar. One thing, just because a bunch of heavily medicated and drunk kids are into the garbage he puts out, doesn't make him worth a shit........ but you can like him, you still have that right as an American to like crap..... have fun with that....... it will be funny for you in a couple of years when and if you grow up. I know I laugh at every White Shits video you post.... before I throw up.:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

Are you going to throw the Dixie Chicks at me next? I don't care for the banjo, harmonica, slide guitar or the country accent they all feel a need to sing with. It reminds me of preacher speak....... who really talks like that?

The real definition of a musicain is to love it so much you can play and create beautiful and highly complex music.

Gee, I listened to your example and got three quarters thru it before I couldn't stand the repetitive guitar and screaming any longer........ is the beautiful and highly complex music in the last quarter of the song? Seems like a waste.
What is the point of having lyrics if they are screamed in an unintelligible mess of noise? Their name is perfect for them.
But it's great that you like them...... really.

Musicianship is not about what kind of music you "like" its about creativity and execution. You may not be able to grasp what these guys are accomplishing in this song but others who play guitar well enough to understand what they are doing here will.

Ah yes, only you can "grasp" the complexity of it. Hey Truthie, do you ever come down off your *imagined* high horse? I think not.

For many of you who dont play guitar this may give you a sample idea of what it takes for these guys to play this music. And then realise they wrote it also.
In TM's defense, Tool's music is incredibly complex, musically. I'm not a fan, but I get where he/she's (not sure) coming from.
He's a bit one dimensional but he definitely has a lot more talent than that dildo Jack White, at least he can hold a note.
:laugh2:Fair enough.

What difference does it make, no speaks like song lyrics in their daily life, Sitarro. :laugh2:
I like OLD country and blue grass music. I like the era that it came from and the type of people it generally represents. So you don't like the presentation, it doesn't make it any less 'good' because it doesn't measure up to your standards. And I'm not talking about the Dixie Chicks, either.
And what are you gonna do next, post another industry gimmic......little girl with a guitar, clip? Muzak or elevator music......I can't wait. :poke:

There are very few styles of music I dont like. If its creative and well executed and really is music (unlike rap which is not really music) I cant help but like it.
I love bluegrass and old country as well as Reggae, classical, punk, swing, blues and just about everything.

No Said, no industry gimmicks, I'll leave that to you and Obama(The White Stripes???!!!)
Tina Dickow is 30, Danish(she is performing in her second language, her accent is real)and is hardly a little girl. She is a national treasure in Denmark...... sorry she doesn't play any hick muzak.
Blue grass? Like the crap the little pan-faced boy plays in Deliverance? Yea great stuff......... not.
Seriously, one of the best musicians I've ever heard:
Sufjan Stevens - The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades is Out to Get Us!
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Rf5kG8drKaM&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Rf5kG8drKaM&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Boring video, but one of my favorite songs ever.
Another great Sufjan song, "John Wayne Gacy, Jr." Not the most complex thing musically, but it's a really good song:

I see where I screwed up...... I didn't qualify my original statement with the word "my"...... If the title would have been My Definition of a true musician maybe there wouldn't have been such a bullshit reaction. I forgot that it is always best to not assume that just because you write something others will know you are merely stating your opinion and there really is no need to put down the subject of the post.
Here is a young woman who is genuine, producing herself starting at 21 because she didn't want the control put on her by the musak industry, the packaging by marketing people that would have made her try to sell records on her sexiness rather than her talent as a writer, vocalist and musician(Beyonce, Shania, etc.). An educated and strong young woman that is actually fighting the stereotype and just truly loves performing whether to a room with a few people or an arena with Zero 7. A young lady that has taken the challenge of becoming an international player in the music scene without any backing from a major label. I found that truly impressive and decided to share that with you guys. For that, I got the local punk dildo calling her a blond bitch because he likes people that dye their hair black, wear silly costumes and can't play in tune or with any real skill whatsoever.
Obama, you are an asshole and a fag, do what comes natural to you and be the catcher as your boyfriend plays batter up....... go bite a pillow.:fu:
Said....... Whatever....
Sitarro, what did you think of Sufjan Stevens? I'm curious what you thought, and I'm determined that we'll find more bands than Zero 7 to see eye to eye on.

I liked his work Dan, I was always a big fan of Simon and Garfunkel and they came to mind when I listened to him...... don't know why. His vocals are very pure.
I especially liked the John Wayne Gacy video, brought back a lot of black and white memories.
I do have to wonder about this photo though................:laugh2:

:laugh2:Yeah, that photo's a little iffy! He's actually a devout Christian, and a lot of his music (though not these two particular songs) reflects that.
