The so-called woman was dressed like a whore And is typical of how many women dress including mothers and daughters, its a shame many people dont have morals and values. Women need to stop needing to be sexy all the time, and then whining when men look, and stop dressing like whores, and then wonder why they are treated thay way
simple dress code: cover up down youre knees, show no underwear, and no cleavage. Its time for women to take responsibility and dress and act like ladies.
have you ever spoken to a woman without being forced to give your credit-card number? this false moral ground you're creating is dumb. :( relax.
considering, the southwest attendant and cnn person interviewing her said they could see her panties. And the fact, she was dressed like a whore.
You are either an idiot, or very stubborn.
Your entitled to your opinion, but dont you dare say im wrong, because its my opinion and since you wanna call me off base.
Apparently, you will let your wife or dress like a whore, i wont!
You ARE wrong. Your opinion is yours, but your opinion on what is or isnt "whore-dress" is wrong. It's off base.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree, as far as playboy goes. It is disgusting for a woman to pose naked for any other man then her husband, in my humble opinion

My morals come from the torah, from god.
God said, put no stumbling block in front of the blind, and women do that every day with men.
even without the religious argument, I believe it is immoral to behave and dress in a slutatious mannor that most women do today. If a woman wants to be treated like a lady, she must dress and act like one.

Oh dear, you are losing sleep like those poor Muslims when their women throw off the berka?
http://www.religionnewsblog.com/19800/islamic-extremism-14
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Malaysia’s Muslim men are suffering sleepless nights and cannot pray properly because their thoughts are distracted by a growing number of women who wear sexy clothes in public, a prominent cleric said....His party’s Web site published an illustration Wednesday of how women should dress — in long, flowing headscarves covering their hair and chests and “baggy and loose” long-sleeved, floor-length dresses.
Most women from Malaysia’s Malay Muslim majority wear a modest form of Islamic clothing, though younger women in cities sometimes wear body-hugging dresses or tight T-shirts and jeans.
In Kelantan, the Islamic party has fined Muslim women for not wearing headscarves in workplaces and implemented separate check-out lines for men and women in supermarkets.

Yes, there are some women that dress suggestively, showing waaay too much. But surely you realize that most of these women HAVE to dress that way. They think so little of themselves that they think that's the only way they can get the attention of a man. It's rather sad. These are not the women that get upset being called "sex objects".
And yet there are some women that could tie a rope around a feed sack and men would still fawn all over them. They are attractive, have a personality, treat others with respect, like they're human beings.
I was told once, "A man is more interested in a woman who is truly interested in him than he is in a woman with pretty legs". I find that to be true.

I haven't read all the posts on this topic but I think generally that American women like to act like whores... When I was a teenager I had a lot of dates with American girls and a few were strait up and would tell you that you aren't getting in my panties but the majority would play the game that if you spend enough money on me I'll give you some...
Got drafted and sent to Korea and there wasn't anything to do but chase the whores and drink beer... sometimes I'd hit two in one night and right away I noticed something, if I treated them the way I treated an American girl on a date they were up front just like the up front American girls... they would let you know I'm doing this to make money or I like you and enjoy our time together and if you are short of money it's OK. After dating hundreds of these whores in Korea I returned to the US and went out on dates and found that a majority of the women were trading sex for money or for commitment and it had nothing to do with whatever feeling they may have for you. I rounded off the odds and considered them all whores not worthily of sorting out since they didn't say up front how they felt.
I ended up marring a Korean woman in the states and as it turned out she was later tainted by NOW liberalism and started using sex as a tool... divorced her like the American woman she turned into... then I married a German girl who was up front and that worked out great until she was up front with some other man while I was out of town. Divorced her too... Then I met my wife and true love that I share my life with now... We are talking up front from beginning to end as opposed to... this is what I have and what are you willing to pay or do to get it?
When I watch CNN or Fox News and see the little whores, with their nice educations criss crossing their legs and pushing up their tits I think to myself I'd prefer a Korean whore who was up front and simply just say it cost this much or I like you a lot and you can have me if I can have you.

Walking through the mall last weekend, hardly any young girls stood out to me as dressed suggestively, and yes, I would have commented on someone with a skirt as short as the girl you posted. It was VERY short. I have to say the goth couple walking around got my attention more than anyone else.
Maybe a lot of women dress that way in California, or maybe they make a strong impression on you when you see them.
That is why I suggested you REALLY look around next time your at the mall or walking down the street, did the 5 "slutty" ones stand out and they're the only ones you remember, instead of the 50 regularly dressed women?

I dont think women should dress in an inappropriate mannor, at work, not at work.
I dont think women should dress that way, because it sends a negative message, and tempts men as well. Also for the religious and moral reasons, which im not sure if anyone understands, or maybe just disagrees.
I have an agressions towards everyone :), and i dont hate women.
I dislike some of the things, that some of them do. But also love women who are sweet kind and nuturing, and im trying to be nice, and kind, to the good women, while staying away from the bad ones.
I havent watched porn lately, and dont like watching it, because it is degrading to men and women.
Im sorry that im coming accross in a mean or creepy way, im not 100% sure why you are creeped out, but ill try to be more diplomatic, and consider the woman on this boards's feeling more in the future.

So Martin - Was mary dressed like a whore or not? if not, what about her outfit is significantly different than what Kyla wore?
You dont put a stumbling block in front of a man

You know what Acts? Go fuck yourself! If you are gonna piss and moan to Jimmy each time I call you retard and that you want to be treated normal then quit using your condition as an excuse as to why you post some of the ridiculous shit that you do.

1. But both women dressed very sexy.
2. Both have sexual desires that they publicize openly so men will give them extra notice.
3. Neither one of these women are conservative women, and I would be very suspect of them for a wife.

I dont think women should dress in an inappropriate mannor, at work, not at work. What you might deem inappropriate may not be considered so by another. Cleavage does not equate whore.
I currently know 2 'business' women that you would never know what they do by the way they dress; suits, slacks & blouses; very respectable, always covered. You'd never guess what they do just by looking at them.

It is disgusting for a woman to pose naked for any other man then her husband, in my humble opinion
I agree. The core reason for doing such a thing is for a cheap sexual thrill to a male or lesbian viewer, and money for the woman posing, selling herself and her dignity.
However, it's totally up to the woman as to whether or not she'd want to do such a thing. But after she does, my opinion of her will be one of less honor. I'll look more at her as a woman of lower moral character.
I'd NEVER allow my wife to pose naked in pictures to be published for public viewing. If she felt strongly enough about doing it and went against my will, we wouldn't be married anymore.

Martin, I don't know if you edited comments out of the OP which were deemed offensive, but I don't find your title in itself offensive. There is a modicum of truth to it. However, I think most American women dress decently, at least in the places I frequent. Things may be different in L.A., for example, or in clubs. Now women in the media is another story altogether.
If people can clearly see your undies when you sit, you are probably dressed inappropriately for flying, where families are stuck and cannot choose to get away from your, uh, display. :coffee:
As for slutiness, I think that applies more to behavior than dress.
On a side note, if the woman in the article is only 23, she must have led a hard life. When I looked at the close up pic of her, I thought she was closer to 40.

I just wanted to make a few comments.
First, I think we, as individuals, have the personal responsibility to make sure we do not sin. If there is something that is a stumbling block for us, we need to avoid those situations, not blame others for creating them.
Second, I see nothing wrong with desiring or wanting women to be modest. As followers of Christ, I cannot see how purposely putting stumbling blocks in front of people can be good for their faith.
But in order to be sinning one has to have knowledge that its wrong and doing it anyway. I am not sure all women really understand how men react to them in little or no clothing because male and females are designed so differently. As men, we are very visual beings. Those women that do understand the reaction of men to how they look and still do it to intentionally cause them to all lust after them, they do sin.
Of course, I do think alot of what women wear is because men are always encouraging them to wear skimpy outfits rather than being modest. However, I think most women would be as beautiful, if not more beautiful, in modest clothing. They just dont get reinforced that view. They get continually told they have to expose themselves to get men to pay any attention to them. its a lie. The attention they get from it is probably not the attention they want because it comes directly from lust and not from love.
I think the best idea for people tempted by lust is to engage in the practice of Joseph of Egypt. When faced with temptation, He ran. Because he knew that it was the right thing to do.
(Keep in mind this applies in general situation. In specific situations, such as between a husband and wife, it's a completely different set of rules).
Lust is an emotion that needs to be bridled. Its hard to see that in the midst of the passion. But if its not bridled and you let lust control you, it can burn you and everything around you that you love if you aren't careful.

What you might deem inappropriate may not be considered so by another. Cleavage does not equate whore.

whats wrong with saying people should adopt our opinion
its a political opinion, were not saudi arabia, were not beating up women, arresting them, or harming them
so whats the problem?
It's not in and of itself. But saying everyone/society at large should adopt your opinions on modesty is another thing entirely.

So instead society should adopt your opinions on modesty?
The fact of the matter is someones opinion on modesty is going to be adopted. And being that this is America, i believe we have freedom to have opinions and share them. Why the hell should I not be allowed to try to persuade people to adopt my standard? Who the hell are you to tell me that I can't try to persuade people?

It's a mini-skirt and a tight tank top. Loosen the vice-grip your so-called "morals" have on your balls and think clearly for a change. This isn't some socially ground-breaking issue. If a woman wants to dress sexy in public, short of waving her pussy around in people's faces and walking around topless, she can do it if she wants to! The airline was completely out of line. End of story.

If a woman is dressed "inappropriately" and is raped, is the rape to be considered justifiable? That's an extreme case but a rationalization used often by social conservatives.
I don't personally like the idea but I suppose that some minimal legal standard of "decent" dress is inevitable. I think we should all work as hard as we can, though, to keep such things from getting out of hand.

Why do you think the standards need to be enforced in order to be taught, lived, and shown to be good?

Not to rehash some of your earlier post but aren't you addicted to PORN. You the denegrater of woman are now on the moral high ground to tell all of those sinning women out there that their cloths are not up to your standards!!
My God Martin you are worse than a person who just quit smoking and telling all his friends how bad it is for them.
I will also say that I am passionently opposed to porn addicts telling me that "THEY FEEL SOMEONE IS DRESSED INAPPROPRIATELY!!!"
Now I am not going to bash you martin because I think sometimes you have some insight to things but this is one argument that by your own addmission on past post you shouldn't be having.
I find it crazy that more on here have not brought this up!!!!:poke::slap:
I've been waiting on someone to remember this. Honestly I don't think anyone with a porn addiction holds any woman in high regard. I think it's proven here by wanting to control how they dress through scorn for their own choices. It's no more that BLAMING women for your problem IMO. If they didn't dress like that I'd be ok...errrr right. Or is it about control?

I think that there are some who are like that. I think there may be others who have seen what their lives have become with such an addiction and repent of their actions to turn around and have seen the destruction pornography brings. Rather than control, their desire may be to do all that they can so women never suffer the degradation of that lifestyle and that men wont become addicted.
I see it no more different than former alcoholics or drug addicts who change their life and want to keep people from making the same mistakes they did and hurting others the same way they did. Are they trying to be controling because they speak out against drugs or alcohol? in some circumstances, quite possibly. But I think its just as likely they are doing it because they've been down that road and know what a dead end it is.

To put it simply, he's trying to blame someone else for his own shortcomings in life. His addiction to porn is the womans fault, obviously. His distaste for children stems from the fact that he can't *get* a girlfriend, much less a wife who is willing to bear his children, and so on.

I believe that skirt lengths and neck lengths have gone up and down prior to the 'women's lib' movement. Now that's not to be confused with the Women's Suffrage Movement. ;)
Some women dress too young. Some tween girls dress too old. Some women just dress inappropriately, but I doubt that any of it has to do with the 'libbers' more likely bad taste or weird mirrors.
In any case, none is an excuse for rape or other violent or demeaning behavior on the part of men.

"If" I had a wife, and she was fat and unattractive, I wouldn't feel as though looking at porn was an excuse for anything. I'd be doing it because I didn't want to look at my wife.
With that said, if I wasn't sexually attracted to my "significant other," I wouldn't be married to her. No excuses involved, and vise versa. Either you turn each other on or you don't. Find somebody new.

Well today it's the internet. 15 years ago, video stores, with hee hee, backrooms. 25 years ago, playboys and such in brown wrapper at 7-11. 35 years ago, stacked under the brother's bed.
Aren't you the one who got all hot watching animals go at it?
