Actually, every member of the Grand Jury has been paid off by A-Rod. A-Rod doesn't want to have to spend the next 10 years as a Yankee (see the contract deal he's negotiating) chasing Barry's records so he hopes to cut the time it takes by stopping Barry at 762. A-Rod wants to be the first to 800 and figures Barry will sign with someone where he can finish his carreer as a DH just belting out Homers.
