Outstanding movie. I never really thought I'd see Adam Sandler pull off such a dramatic part so well, dude deserves an Oscar, seriously.

This was a pretty sad movie, though. Not that I didn't expect it to be, but, yeah, it definitely was.

Well, yeah, but it's also a weird artsy-fartsy movie, where he more or less plays a more realistic version of Happy Gilmore. He's great in it, don't get me wrong, but the most "dramatic" thing he had to do in that movie was act scared of a harmonium. In this one, he portrays a guy whose entire family died on 9/11, and he expresses the loss and sadness, along with the cold distance that such a tragedy can bring, in a very realistic and very heartbreaking way. Made me cry twice.
