He carked it 3,000 years ago, no wonder he looks a bit worn. I had a body once, in a hut in the bloody desert here during the middle of summer, she was white but when I found her she was totally black. I won't go on about it, suffice to say it was a bad one.
I don't know about the ancient Egyptians in terms of their race but I'm pretty sure they weren't Negroid. The closest were the Nubians further south and I think Negroid people were in east, central and west Africa as we know it today, not in ancient Egypt.

The Egyptians were African, but not "negroes". They physically resembled the Egyptians of today, somewhat olive colored.
The blackened skin that you see is the result of two things, the mummification process and 3,500 years of extremely dry conditions.
The mummification process included packing the body in natron salt for 70 days. This dessicated the body so that it had no moisture. It also changed the color of the skin. Another thing that happened is, that Tut's body was drenched in oils and resins during the burial cermony. This also could have changed the skin color.
King Tut was not black, as the paintings in his tomb, his staturary and other representations of him clearly show.

It's OK for black people to talk about it, but not white. All white people are racist.
