You are so right, how is a mass murderer a genius?

Some of the other entries are questionable too. Dolly Parton , George Soros come to mind. Unless breast size is a consideration, but if it is, why isn't Pamela Anderson on this list?

Any list of geniuses that doesn't include Edward Witten, one of the founders of "M" theory and of String theory is not worth the space it takes up....

Dr Witten's theories are so abstract that only a handful of scientist truly understand them. They describe the nature of our universe through a theory called "M" theory, which is a successor to Super-String theory.

"The top 100 living geniuses was compiled by a panel of six experts in creativity and innovation from Creators Synectics, a global consultants firm.

The company emailed 4,000 Britons this summer and asked them to nominate up to 10 living people who they considered geniuses.

Each genius was then awarded scores out of ten against criteria which included: paradigm shifting; popular acclaim; intellectual power; achievement and cultural importance."

So essentially, these people aren't necessarily geniuses, but Brits think they are.
