Especially among young people, and stop the spread of the diseases from infecting others.

anyone got any ideas.

cause the numbers are sad.

Not just with young people, but with all americans.

Aids and stds arent going away

STD's have been around for a very long time. They arn't going anywhere.

People know the consiquences of unprotected sex and they are to lazy, or just don't care to use protection.

Fact #1: if you don't have sexual contact with others, you will not get their STDs.

Fact #2: if you do have sexual contact with others, you may get their STDs.

Given fact #1 and fact #2, the foolproof method to not getting STDs is not having sex.

Right, but thats not going to stop people. People will continue to have sex.
Therefore, the only thing we should be giving people is intense education as to what they can do to protect themselves. People need to understand the signs of STD's, how to get treatment, as well as how to communicate with partners about being honest and open. (Aka SEX EDUCATION...which as well all know, conservatives are opposed too).

well too bad its happening. How do you propose to educate people without teaching them the consequences of their actions? If they understand the Gospel and live its standards they will be be free of all STDs. The problem isnt with the Gospel, its with the fact that people like yourself never give the standards of God a chance.
