Political affiliation has nothing to do with whether you love america, or whether youre a patriot.

I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have offended, because I believe what i said was morally offensive and wrong.

That may be true for some, maye even most. But im not willing to condemn an entire group of people. For example. 92% of american blacks vote for democrats, should i hate them too.

Im not trying to be rude, but i have to go by individual actions, and not broad brush and entire group.

Some of them yes, But I have met some very nice people in my life who happen to liberal. I cant hate people simply for their beliefs.

Now, I can passionently disagree with their beliefs. But the minute I hate someone simply for a belief, im not better then al queda.

My point, there is a difference between disliking a general idea, communism, socialism, abortion, homosexuality, and hating someone who you dont know.

Now, if an indivual commits a heinous or disrespectful act, or a percentage or people within a group does, thatn disliking them, is not wrong in my opinion.

Its like saying, their are good black people, and bad, good white people and bad, good jews and bad.

Come on jd, get with the programme. A patriot can only come from the right. So all those poor bastards who died for the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War were deluded. Thank you, I think, but I am neither Democrat nor Republican although I have been both. Nor would I consider myself left of center. I am actually socially conservative but moving further left. I guess, what I liked about GWB was the idea that he was a "compassionate conservative". Okay, so fool me once shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. That is what I like to think of myself as. I am anti-abortion, anti-affimative action, pro-gun and things generally considered conservative but I believe in helping those who are in need as well. I believe we should give the needy a helping hand up not a hand out.

I have become very much opposed to the things that I see our President and the Federal Government doing. When they begin to take away civil rights, I get concerned. I do not believe we should torture... anyone including muslims although if they are proven terrorists... well, maybe I should not say that. I do not trust either party and feel they are basically the same.
