I am honored to announce that I have nominated Pete Hegseth to serve in my Cabinet as The Secretary of Defense. Pete has spent his entire life as a Warrior for the Troops, and for the Country.

The book reveals the leftwing betrayal of our Warriors, and how we must return our Military to meritocracy, lethality, accountability, and excellence. Pete has also led two Veterans Advocacy organizations, leading the fight for our Warriors, and our great Veterans. Nobody fights harder for the Troops, and Pete will be a courageous and patriotic champion of our “Peace through Strength” policy.”

This guy was unknown to me until today, but that's a pretty great resume! And the fact that he's been railing against the woke infection of our military is just what's needed.

This is the guy that needs to recall Milley and have him court martialled. That event absolutely has to happen.

Vindmann too, but I'll admit that I'm wanting that purely for revenge reasons. Still, he was in uniform and betrayed his CinC for purely political reasons and lied about it too.

Exit polls didn't ask the right question because current occupiers of the Republican party couldn't handle the answer. This election is a referendum against the Dems. In case no one remembers 2020, when this clown show falls on its face, we'll be looking at worse than Harris.

I happen to like Pete Hegseth. No offense to him, nor any politics involved in my stating he is underqualified for the job. Not to mention putting himself in "yes man" position. Like the rest.

That is true. Let's rewind: After Trump's behavior following the 2020 election, there was no way I could envision voting for him again. It is most fortunate for him current Admin is such an abysmal failure that people are afraid to leave it up to them for 4 more years. ESPECIALLY when they broke out Kamala who is dumber than Biden.

I, as well as plenty of others, may have voted for him to get rid of the Dems, but that doesn't erase past behavior. It doesn't erase the bad policies he had, regardless the good ones. In 2020, his loyal few couldn't carry an election against Biden. So it took the rest of us.

That in no way means we have to agree with his breaking out doubling down on stupid. These appointments have nothing to do with best qualified and everything to do with amassing power by appointing loyal yes men, qualified or not. We're almost in a war and he isn't going to stop it. Matter of fact, he could be the cause with his hard line stances on China and Iran. That's not the time to be appointing less or unqualified people.
