Shifting a bit on policy doesn't bother me a bit. Educated people learn new things every day, and circumstances change. Especially with DC driving the bus off the cliff.

On the other and, Harris doesn't have a stance to shift on. She's whatever she thinks whoever is in front of her wants to hear at the time. Unacceptable.

I don't think Trump has changed on positions, if anything he's a bit more transparents about how he really feels on abortion and firearms where he is returning to his previous stance with the caveat that the states now can decide. I've always seen him 'at best' as a NYC Republican, which is much further left than most Republicans elsewhere. Like Democrats everywhere he doesn't let balance budgets goals get in the way of what he wants to do.

Kamala on the other hand, is just plain reneging on what she has run on, protested about, and worked to pass laws about for over 25 years. There is no 'return' and up until July when she was installed to take Biden's place, none of these changes were whispered, much less spoken aloud. I don't know about most Americans, but I do not believe these are now her positions or what she would do if she won.
