House GOP torpedoes Speaker Johnson’s funding bill

I'm wondering what private little world Trump and his followers think they are living on. One would think by now they'd figure out they're losing every time, and they're the ones setting themselves up to fail.

We're going to be stuck with Harris and Dem majorities in House and Senate. The Republican't's deserve to lose the House. They are worse than a new platoon of recruits on T-1:rolleyes:

Hey, these "opposition folks" fight and fight and fight. Of they lose it's not because they didn't fight. Fighting is what counts. Almost anarchy like.

I don't care what they want or don't want or believe in because it doesn't matter if the Dems re-take the House. They'll be sitting on the bench watching the team in power play.

Somewhere along the way these politicians lost sight of the name of the game - politics. They have made zero effort to negotiate on anything. They wait until the last minute ad try to shove something down everyone's throats that, especially in this case, half their own aren't buying.

They've also lost sight of what's at stake. First thing the Dems want to do is kill the filibuster and the Supreme Court. And not a damned one of them is going to feel in any way culpable:rolleyes:

Actually, none of them are Actually politicians in the form of getting things done. They are elected by the low info voters that were activated by Trump rhetoric, though they give no thought to how things work, just that they are angry and now have these dunderheads that go wild with fighting the 'forces' aligned against the decent folk.
