Meanwhile, in New Hampshire, another Libertarian Party controversy pertaining to the 2024 presidential election has exploded — this time involving a death threat against Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris (https://www.bostonglobe.com/2024/09/15/metro/kamala-harris-libertarian-new-hampshire/).
The New Hampshire Libertarian Party shared a post on X (https://www.thedailybeast.com/new-hampshire-political-par-blasted-for-sick-post-glorifying-kamala-harris-death-threat?ref=home), formerly Twitter, that read, "Anyone who murders Kamala Harris would be an American hero."
Demands for investigation after NH Libertarian Party shares threatening Harris (msn.com) (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/demands-for-investigation-after-nh-libertarian-party-shares-threatening-harris/ar-AA1qFoHm?ocid=msedgntp&pc=HCTS&cvid=eeb90823299f48269f77e28ca9c9f87f&ei=6)
Again, American English being the language and words mean things: I do not see that as a threat. Last I checked, wishing ill on someone else is not illegal. If it is, I have to wonder how many people would NOT be in jail.
Stupid? You bet. In more than one way. It's self-destructive to be so emotionally invested in hate. Dumber: wishing a Dem would die in a public forum will turn wishful thinking into death threat every time. Guess whoever these people are didn't bother watching the Dem overreaction and histrionics over Jan 6th.
Look no further for my opinion of the Libertarian Party and why I won't support it nor its candidates. Too stupid.
