The bangs in Conan were just too much. Just blew the whole movie for me:laugh: He portrayed a good coach in Best of the Best.
I ran across once an outtake of them using David Prowse's (the bodybuilder/actor that played Vader) Brit voice for Darth Vader. Thank goodness they found James Earl Ray :)

He was truly one of the best, an icon.
When a celebrity dies, a slew of superlatives are often tossed out in tribute to them, whether they are true or not (and let's be real, most of them are just lip service so no one thinks the celebrity in question isn't thought highly of...). But to my mind, James Earl Jones is worthy of every bit of praise he will receive.
He was one of my favorites.
Every time I see A Family Thing is on somewhere, I watch it. One of my favorite movies...

For those of us too young to remember "Gidget" but old enough to remember The Guns of Navarrone, Time Tunnel and TJ Hooker, James Darren also passed away. When I was 6-7, I thought he was the coolest dude ever. My one time foray into turtlenecks was because he wore one in Time Tunnel. THEN my great-grandmother made me one from wool. Never again :)

I used to watch The Time Tunnel... and Land of the Giants as well.
