Good article. Informative. The ship is the USS Wasp. It took a year for them to get the USS Boxer unf*cked. Finally is on deployment now. These ships were all active before I retired 24 years ago. I don't even know if they have any being built. Probably not:rolleyes: Note though that the operational tempo has increased.
Some people need to get their heads and asses wired together or there won't be any amphibs left. Wonder what and where you forward deploy Marines and Navy as a US show of force to?
