This guy was considered to be Harris' VP? Wow.

I admit, I had to DVR most of the convention yesterday, when I hit Beshear's speaking, after a couple minutes I fast forwarded. I'd never vote for him and I was bored. Oh what I missed:

'Disgusting person': JD Vance rips Gov. Beshear for 'wishing' tragedy on his family

Ohio Senator and GOP vice presidential candidate JD Vance called Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear a "disgusting person" and accused him of "wishing" that a member of his family "would get raped" in an interview.

Gov. Beshear spoke Monday night at the Democratic National Convention, praising the Harris campaign its plan to stop abortion bans following the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

In an interview on MSNBC Tuesday morning, Behsear falsely criticized Vance for calling pregnancy resulting in rape "inconvenient."

"Make him go through this," Beshear said in the interview.

Vance responded to Beshear's interview in a post on X saying, "What the hell is this?"

"Why is @AndyBeshearKY wishing that a member of my family would get raped?! What a disgusting person," Vance said.

Vance has not referred to pregnancy resulting in rape as inconvenient. Rather, as a then-Senate candidate, Vance once said, “It’s not whether a woman should be forced to bring a child to term. It’s whether a child should be allowed to live even though the circumstances of that child’s birth are somehow inconvenient or a problem to society.”

Vance has repeatedly said that he supports abortion access for exceptions of rape, incest, and if the life of a mother is at risk. He supports President Donald Trump's position that abortion policies should be decided at the state level -- which is what the Supreme Court decided in 2022. He also supports IVF access.

William Martin, communications director for Vance said in a statement, "After speaking on the DNC main stage last night, Harris campaign surrogate Governor Andy Beshear went on national television this morning and explicitly called for a member of Senator Vance’s family to be raped. His comments are disgusting, vile, and should not be tolerated in American politics."

"We call on Kamala Harris to immediately repudiate Governor Beshear’s comments and demonstrate that regardless of partisan disagreements, this kind of violent rhetoric has no place in our public discourse," Martin said.

Andy Beshear Hopes Somebody Rapes J.D. Vance's Wife or DaughterDavid Strom 12:00 PM | August 20, 2024

The Democrat Party is filled with trash people.

That's not to say every Democrat is trash; just an abnormally large number of them are disgusting, nasty, vile, hateful liars whose fondest wish is to harm people they disagree with.

They want to cancel them, put them in jail, lock them in their homes, shame them for not wearing masks, force them to inject themselves with experimental gene therapies, and...have their family members raped.

And that's just the party leaders. Look outside at the protesters, and they want to murder Jews.

What a nice group of people.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is one of these "fine people" to coin a phrase, who, when he drops his mask, reveals himself to be a hateful scumbag of a man.

In my last post, I ran through some of the hoaxes the Democrats have built their campaign against Republicans on, but I just ran across this disgusting bit of fantasy that oozed like sewage out of the Kentucky governor's brain.

J.D. Vance should have a relative raped? That way, he would experience the horrid pain of a woman in his family being raped.

The context of Vance's comments, of course, was his absolute opposition to all abortions as child murder. You can agree or disagree, but Vance did not argue that rape was "inconvenient." That is, as with most things Democrats spew about Republicans, a totally false characterization of what Vance said.

But the hoax or lie or whatever you call it is standard political bulls**t these days. Hoping that somebody gets raped is not.

Will Beshear be anything but lionized for his hateful rant? Of course not. The MSNBC audience no doubt ate it up, and since Beshear is a potential Democrat candidate for president, this filth will be swept under the rug.

Democrats are the party of the working man, except if a hillbilly escapes poverty and rises through the economic ranks and becomes a candidate for VP. They are the party of women's rights unless they are Republican women or girls who want to play sports. In that case they are hateful and deserve whatever fate befalls them.

I try really hard not to get too excited about political hyperbole, although I always fail. I still have this quaint notion that there should be SOME limits to what people say--and I feel that way about both parties. But the Democrats have taken "hyperbole" to such outrageous limits that I find it hard to feel anything but pure contempt for them.

But I still don't want their family members to get raped. I wish I could say the same about their moral limits. They have none.

Pretty much my opinion as well. Only I don't get paid to write articles and have a job to worry about. Dems are stupid, hateful and petty. The state of both current politics and the Union is the evidence.
