If Biden wrote this, we're in great shape. Chances that is so? LOL!

https://x.com/JakeSherman/status/1810300398713880627I'm most curious to see how the Dems are going to wriggle their way out of this. Unfortunately, it looks as if the Republicans, as usual, are going to do their dirty work for them, which they will turn around and misconstrue in the media. Not getting why certain people in the House are so Hell bent on self-destruction.

If they want to investigate something? How about investigating who has been calling the shots for this empty skull we've known in a puppet for 4 years?

Let's just say, IF it were his, he would have been better off reading it from teleprompter prior to his coming press conference OR better yet, the day after the debate!

He is what we have been saying he is all along. He's just gotten to the point where it can't be hidden or laughed off or lied away. He's never been in charge and nothing he's done in the past 4 years impresses me otherwise. I expressed my suspicions then and they have born themselves out.

No argument from me. What I'm shocked at is that whomever wrote this cogent argument, somehow is delusional enough to believe the people are as stupid as the 'rulers' believe. That's just dangerous.

Some day a tell all book may be written about who was making decisions. Historians will argue over this . I think he was involved initially and the stress of the job accelerated his deteriorating condition.

Given what I have seen in recent times, can't say I'm impressed with the "People". Even I don't think they're dumb enough to not see what's going on here without willfully doing so. They should have caught on right about when the Afghanistan debacle took place. Clearly done by people who had no idea what they were doing.

I don't think I'm dumb, but I don't think Afghanistan was done by accident. I think this administration truly hates the country and the military-it's a continuation of Obama's thinking.

Well it is being argued that the people were gaslit by the msm for daring to claim Biden was mentally unfit.

Also consider how KJP re debate said Biden had a cold and was jetlagged (12:days after a trip), and that he was stressed out about his sons conviction.
So the Admin is still denying/deceiving

The amazing thing is, even his HARD CORE celebrity fan base wants him out.

There's video out there of Biden during one of his previous campaigns talking about the possibility of leaving Afghanistan.
He says to the audience that the right way to leave is gradual, it'd take about a year and we could NOT leave a single weapon behind for our enemies or the terrorist to use. He basically said it's was stupid to do otherwise.
For once he made sense.
I'm not sure what happen between that campaign talking point and what he did when the time came.

There's a thought. I mean if you looking for a way to compound one screw-up on top of another I'd be hard-pressed to find a better example. I agree on the left's disdain for the military, but I don't think they set out to purposefully have things blow up in their faces as they did. I'm more inclined to believe Biden thought he could pull off some kind of political victory by ending the war and incompetently cut straight to pulling the plug.

I can't stress enough how dangerous that kind of incompetence is. What if he was tasked with realigning assets somewhere that really mattered? He could lose way more than he did in Afghanistan. What happens if this nincompoop has to face a direct threat in real time? Pretty sure he wouldn't be making the decisions but Afghanistan leaves little faith in whoever is pulling his strings.
