In space

no one can hear the boom
Even if I'm deaf and blind and a tree falls close enough I can feel the vibration. Don't need to hear ir see it to experience the fallout.

Both the US and USSR set off nuclear warheads in space back in the 1960s. Just to see what they would do:rolleyes:

Doing so now would be self-defeating or a last desperate act. Everyone everywhere is too dependent on electronics and satellites. The EMP from a nuke in space would indiscriminately knock out all those space junk satellites. Like as not to turn off your own crap as anyone else's.

The premise of using space is to be able to fire weapons from space to ground, cutting out half the delivery time.
