Seriously though, more should things like this. Start rebelling against the status quo by offering alternatives back to normalcy and how things should be. The article is summed up:

However, that out of sight out of mind complacency during the "do times" blows up in our faces every time we "don't". Usually SOS, which to me means it's just simmering below the surface always ready to come out.
