If you’re wondering why President Biden has suddenly shown renewed interest in illegal immigration, wonder no more. As the I&I/TIPP Poll for October clearly shows, most Americans now see the open U.S. border as a serious national problem. And that also includes Democrats.


With a record surge of illegal immigrants into the U.S., I&I/TIPP asked the 1,378 voters who responded to the national online poll, which was taken from Sept. 27-29: “How would you describe the current situation at the United States’ southern border with Mexico?”


The poll, which was taken from Sept. 27-29 and has a margin of error of +/-2.7 percentage points, then provided five potential responses for participants: “crisis,” “a major problem,” “a minor problem,” “not a problem,” and “not sure.”


The response was clear and unequivocal. 72% of Americans called it either a crisis or a major problem. Just 22% said it was either a minor problem or not a problem. Another 6% said they were “Not sure.”


Republicans came out highest, with 88% calling the illegal border crossings a crisis or major problem, and just 10% calling the problem minor or nonexistent. Independents were somewhat below the Republicans at 64% vs. 25%. But Democrats weren’t far behind, at 62%-32%.

There were some interesting results, however. Overall, 62% of the two largest minority groups, blacks and hispanics, called uncontrolled immigration across our border a crisis or major problem, while 27% didn’t see it that way.


But break the numbers down further and you might be surprised. Blacks are among the lowest percentage in seeing the border as a serious problem, at 54% to 34%. But hispanics at 70% are much more likely to see it as serious (38%) or even a crisis (33%), not too far different from whites, at 77% to 19%.

The Times of Israel reported (https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/hamas-calls-for-mass-rallies-on-friday-throughout-muslim-world/) on Tuesday, ”The Hamas terror group calls for mass rallies in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and throughout the Arab and Muslim world on Friday in support of its fight against Israel.” But Hamas’s actual words indicate a desire for pro-jihad rallies not just in Israel or in Muslim countries, but everywhere around the globe.

Hamas asked Muslims to unite in “the closest point to Jerusalem” as a sign of support for Hamas’s brutal effort to halt “Israeli plans to Judaize Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.” Of course, the Jews had Jerusalem as their capital some thousand years before Islam was invented, but don’t expect logic from radical Muslims — only insane hatred.

Hamas also reportedly told Arab Israelis in particular to congregate at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa compound, which is on the Temple Mount, in order to prevent Jews from supposedly “desecrating it” and “building on it.” West Bank Palestinians were asked to fight Israeli “settlers” and soldiers and “rise up and go out in roaring crowds.”

I have already reported (https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/catherinesalgado/2023/09/07/a-shocking-number-of-illegal-aliens-flagged-as-national-security-risks-n1725073) how U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) flagged 74,904 illegal aliens across the country as potential national security risks (due to potential terrorist ties). In contrast, Border Patrol had encountered 25,627 such illegals last fiscal year and only 3,675 in 2021. That’s not a promising increase.

In other words, there could well be quite a few terrorists who evaded Border Patrol altogether and are here in the U.S.

These are Border Patrol apprehensions between ports of entry only, this data does not include CBP encounters at ports of entry.
Border Patrol sources tell me they have extreme concerns about who is coming into the country because they have little to no way of vetting people from these special interest countries. I’m told unless they have committed a crime previously in the US, or they are on some sort of federal watchlist, there’s no way to know who they are because most of their home countries don’t share data/records with the US so there is nothing to match a name to when BP agents run fingerprints.
A special interest alien is a term used by the U.S. government to refer to people coming from countries that have conditions that favor or harbor terrorism, or pose a potential national security to the U.S.




If Democrat leaders think that a potential terrorist uprising, like 9/11 on steroids, wouldn’t affect them, they should think again. After all, the Pentagon was one of the targets hit on 9/11, and if it weren’t for the great heroism of those Americans aboard Flight 93, (https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/remembering-the-40-heroes-aboard-flight-93-and-how-they-thwarted-9-11-terrorists)the U.S. Capitol would probably have been another successful target of the terrorists. We need to learn a lesson from Israel’s horrible nightmare and work to prevent a jihad uprising here in America.
