I think Yee is highest ranking Republican and everyone above is out of state and she just making an announcement she won't use this time to do any shenanigans as Hobbs is doing.

After reading more I think it's not a big deal other than her exposing some shit Hobbs is doing.

I could find no news about Hobbs no longer gov but a statement from the Republican "right wing" state senator that said the senate indictment is "fake news." Senates do not indict.

Hobbs left the Republican in charge for one day. It's really confusing and yes, can be found with search of news sources.

I may be wrong but there may not be a lieutenant governor. It's very weird here.
