There was a time that Republican meant dowdy and really incapable of 'having fun,' beyond talking about esoteric subjects. Don't have to worry about that post-Trump:

So, That's What Caused Lauren Boebert to Get Kicked Out of That MusicalMatt Vespa

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) caused a local stir when she was kicked out of the Buell Theatre in Denver. The venue was hosting the musical Beetlejuice. The Colorado Republican admitted to being at the play, but we have video footage of her being escorted out by security, along with what appears to be many instances of disturbance during the production.
Boebert reportedly got into it with a pregnant woman, who asked the congresswoman to quit using her vape pen. She refused, calling the woman a “sad and miserable person.” Boebert and her date were described as behaving outrageously by another patron. Not pleased with being booted from the theater, Boebert flipped off staff as she was leaving (via NY Post):

Boebert tries a new angle-regret.
Well that's a bit better, but when one speaks of needing 'grace' in rough times, it's always better when one has been giving some to others too. Not too obvious by this person's behaviors over the years:

Not a liberal, quite the contrary, and not a liberal siteCuz Beetlejuice is such a class act:rolleyes:
Boebert is cliche trailer trash. I don't disagree with some of her stances, but her lack of manners and attention-whoring are beyond the pale.

Just wondering.
Are you saying that now is the time we should only vote for candidates who are morally upright and the issues are secondary?
Or should the candidates morals and the issues be of equal weight?
How about "viability"? That's the last factor we're looking for correct?
If you're going to be consistent here. I'm on board.
We need to see if Ben Carson is still available. Mitt Romney's still available for a bit.
Since morals are more important than issues to real Republicans like us....
(except when it's time to vote for that in the primaries.)
But Look, If you're just using this as an excuse to piss on Trump, well OK have fun.
But please don't pretend that Republicans on the whole have voted to place a candidate's high moral standards as the PRIMARY reason for voting for them.
BTW Have you done that personally for any candidate?
Voted Morals over issues... or "viability"?

Actually I did.2016. Nearly everyone here basically said I was a prissy little hypocrite. Then this guy basically makes better decisions than I thought possible, so I vote for him second go round. He goes total nuts on campaign due to covid, loses, then really let's us know what nuts is.
Yeah, character dies matter, be it Trump or Biden.

At the time, it was hard to imagine what would befall the country and state of politics. I was intent on keeping Hitlery out and had never seen a reason to justify voting 3rd party. That little issue has been solved for me:rolleyes:

I don't need an excuse to piss on trump, I'll give my opinion on him when appropriate and I wasn't pissing on him here anyway. ;) Besides I can't particularly think of a time when the chasm between morality and issues has been so large that it really came across as something to be considered. I didn't vote for trump in 16 for a host of issues that did in 20 because the S*show of his character hadn't become so apparent. And the problem nowadays isn't so much his S*show character it's now the down ballot S*show characters that is becoming a larger problem.
The short version of that post is I agree with Kathianne.
When people are paying more attention to one's over the top behavior and Friday night at the bar appearance, issues are lost in the sauce.
....say the people weak on the issues..
the big issues are freedom and america first.
you romney republicans are weak on both.
