So far it seems certain records remain available for viewing, those may be part of the falling dominos.

Turbulence: Republicans Demand Records of Hunter Biden’s AF2 TravelAP POOL
Republicans on the House Oversight Committee have requested that the National Archives turn over all documents and flight manifests regarding trips that Hunter Biden took on Air Force Two, as well as Marine Two, during his father’s time as vice president.

It is the latest in the ongoing probe of how the younger Biden made millions of dollars overseas and whether his father, the current president, improperly benefited from those dealings. For months, Republicans have searched for a connection to tie the two men together.

The White House has alternately insisted that President Biden never discussed business with his son and also that he was never in a business relationship with him. And there is not yet evidence that the president either profited from Hunter Biden’s overseas business activity or took actions in his official capacity because they would benefit the Bidens.

But Oversight Chairman James Comer believes he may soon find a link: flight manifests.

“Devon Archer, a longtime Biden family associate, has stated it is ‘categorically false’ that Joe Biden played no role in his son’s foreign business dealings,” Comer wrote in a Wednesday letter to the Archives obtained early by RealClearPolitics.

“Flights on Air Force Two around the world to seal business deals,” he said, “are evidence of that role.”

Throughout his father’s time as vice president, Hunter Biden often tagged along on domestic and international flights. A Fox News report cited in Comer’s letter found that he traveled to at least 15 different countries during that time. After founding the consulting firm Rosemont Seneca Partners, he flew with his father on Air Force Two to Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, and Mexico.

“I can catch a ride with him,” Hunter Biden wrote a business associate who was reportedly a foreign agent ahead of an official trip to Belgium and Spain in April of 2010, according to emails contained on the laptop that the president’s son abandoned at a repair shop.

Flying with his father was so frequent that Hunter Biden often informed staff to make room for him on Air Force Two at the last minute. “Plan on me being in plane,” he wrote Kathy Chung, a former aide to the vice president, less than 12 hours before a 2012 cross-country flight to California.

Family members of presidents and vice presidents often tag along during official travel, but it is rare that those next of kin are also employed as international business consultants – a fact that Obama administration officials reportedly worried would invite questions that Hunter Biden was “leveraging access for his benefit.”

One trip was of particular concern to Democrats in 2013 – and now to Republicans in 2023.

When the vice president stepped off Air Force Two onto a Beijing tarmac, he waved to the photographers. His son was by his side that year, dressed in a black overcoat. Hunter Biden had asked his father if he could travel with him during a state visit to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The vice president agreed, and Hunter Biden used the trip to meet with representatives from BHR Partners, a private investment firm controlled by the Bank of China.

On the ground in Beijing, Hunter Biden arranged for his father to meet Jonathan Li, who ran a Chinese private equity fund called Bohai Capital. After the vice president departed, they reportedly had a meeting. He later told the New Yorker, who first reported the incident, he couldn’t understand the fuss over the meeting.

“How do I go to Beijing, halfway around the world,” Hunter Biden told the magazine of his meeting with his Chinese business associates, “and not see them for a cup of coffee?”

Republicans don’t find the foreign travel on government jets, and subsequent private business, so innocent. The Oversight Committee points to that travel as an obvious abuse.

“Then-Vice President Biden’s misuse of Air Force Two and Marine Two is indicative of yet another way in which the President has abused his various offices of public trust and wasted taxpayer money to benefit his family’s enterprise, which consisted of nothing more than access to Joe Biden himself,” Comer wrote in the letter.

Oversight wants the National Archives to pass along “all documents and communications” regarding Hunter Biden’s travel on Air Force Two and Marine Two as well as “all Air Force Two and Marine Two manifests.”

They are also seeking any records related to the president’s business associates, namely Devon Archer, who previously testified before Congress; Eric Schwerin, who was frequently admitted into the Obama White House; and Jeffrey Cooper, who reportedly handled the Biden family finances.

Unlike Hunter Biden, however, there aren’t any public records of those individuals flying with the former vice president.

Curiously, the committee is also requesting documents “referring to or relating to any security incidents on Air Force Two or Marine Two” during Biden’s time as vice president.

“The walls are closing in on the Biden Family due to consistent and diligent efforts by House Republicans who’ve followed the money, conducted meticulous interviews and hearings, and uncovered undeniable corruption,” said Florida Rep. Byron Donalds, who co-signed the letter with Comer, in a statement.

“The American people deserve to know how much their former Vice President and current President abused his power to shake down foreign governments and enrich his family to the tune of millions of dollars,” he added.

One hopes the story will unravel, then the 'executive privilege' is raised-you know the one the President can just 'think' and it works? No? Oh well, it may be f'ing things up:

Hunter's firm exchanged many emails with VP Joe's office

He never spoke to his son, Hunter, his brother Jim, “or anyone, for that matter” about their foreign business dealings. That’s what Joe Biden told us more times than I can count, both on the campaign trail and as President. We now know beyond a shadow of a doubt that those were all outrageous, blatant lies. But the latest batch of emails to come to light show that the lie was even bigger than we had imagined. There are more than 1,000 emails that were exchanged between Joe Biden’s vice presidential office and the office of Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm. That was Hunter’s office that was responsible for arranging “deals” that resulted in millions of dollars flowing into the coffers of the Biden family from foreign actors. And at least 200 of the emails were locked away from public disclosure before we could see them, with the elder Biden citing executive privilege. (NY Post)

Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm traded more than 1,000 emails with Joe Biden’s office during his time as vice president — and hundreds remain hidden because of executive privilege asserted by the White House, documents released by the National Archives show.

The 861 emails that reference Rosemont Seneca were sent or received by the Office of the Vice President between January 2011 and December 2013, according to America First Legal, which obtained the messages from the National Archives and Records Administration and released them on Wednesday.

The White House refused to allow the release of 200 emails referencing Hunter Biden’s firm, citing executive privilege.

So what was the justification for invoking executive privilege? NARA stated that releasing the remaining emails would expose “confidential advice between the President and his advisors.” This is a bizarre response for a couple of reasons. First of all, the emails in question all originated between 2011 and 2013. Joe Biden wasn’t the President then. He was the Vice President.

And since when would either Hunter (who never held any official government position) or his partners at Rosemont Seneca qualify as “advisors” to the executive branch? And even if they were, what would that crew be advising the Veep on? Investment advice? Perhaps where he might want to invest the millions of dollars Joe was raking in from Burisma and the CCP?

Looking at the dates on these documents, another question comes to mind. These emails have all been sitting in the archives for more than a decade. How is it that nobody bothered to look until now? In some ways, I suppose it makes sense. I mean, why would you bother poring through the dusty communications of a former vice president and reading all of his mundane bureaucratic correspondence? Nobody had really even suggested that someone in Biden’s position would have had the gall to engage in such an outrageous scheme and do so using his official communications channels. And yet here we are.

The entire circus surrounding Biden Inc. smells worse and worse with every rock that gets kicked over. Sadly, this is yet another story that you will likely never see on CNN or gracing the pages of the Gray Lady or the WaPo. But the evidence continues to drip out and it just seems as if the dam is going to have to break sooner or later. Joe Biden somehow amassed tens of millions of dollars and at least two seaside mansions while allegedly living on a public servant’s salary and being married to a community college professor.

How did that happen? The answer is becoming increasingly clear. And now his mental faculties have decayed to the point where he’s generally unable to exit a stage without someone holding his arm. And his son, who has obviously been guilty of enough crimes to fill a rap sheet as long as his arm, is still jetting around the globe with dad and living in mansions. (He just moved into yet another Malibu mansion with “breathtaking ocean views” only weeks after telling a family court judge that he couldn’t afford to cough up his child support payments.) All of the working stiffs around the country must be watching all of this play out and wondering why they even bother going to their jobs every day.

Biden’s Secret Emails: President robinware456
The White House won’t release emails from his pseudonym accounts. Why?

House investigators are trying to figure out President Biden’s relationship to his son’s foreign business deals, and now comes a new revelation: emails from private accounts that Joe Biden maintained while Vice President using a pseudonym.

Joe Biden's Email Pseudonyms

The Southeastern Legal Foundation on Monday sued the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) under the Freedom of Information Act, demanding access to some 5,100 email messages in which then-Vice President Biden used a pseudonym for government business. NARA has admitted having Joe Biden’s emails from robinware456@gmail.com, JRBWare@gmail.com, and Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer wants to see all of the pseudonym emails, as well as unredacted versions of the few that have been made public. A Comer spokesperson says NARA says it has “sent some of the records to representatives for former President Obama and Joe Biden for their approval to be released.”

Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson first demanded access to Joe Biden’s pseudonym emails in mid-2021, after Hunter Biden’s famous laptop showed the veep’s office used private or alias accounts to send government information to Hunter.

One email alerted Hunter to a call the Vice President made to then-Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko—at the same time Hunter was on the board of Ukrainian gas giant Burisma. Another laptop entry shows Hunter using his business email in 2014 to write to his father’s “robinware” account, asking the veep to call him before making a specific government staffing decision. Joe replied: “Re Johnny call me right away Dad.”

Why use email addresses designed to skirt searches of government records? Without the public exposure of Hunter’s laptop by the New York Post, nobody would know an extra set of vice presidential communications existed under obscure addresses.

The clandestine emails fit a pattern that GOP investigators are piecing together of a behind-the-scenes effort by Hunter to sell his father’s power in Washington—in which Joe played along. Mr. Comer on Wednesday also requested that NARA provide all documents, communications and manifests related to Vice President Biden’s use of Air Force Two and Marine Two, following a Fox News report that Hunter traveled to at least 15 foreign countries with his father on official trips.

Government employees are discouraged from using private email to conduct government business, and when they do they are required to forward all relevant documents to federal record-keepers. There’s no reason for the White House to refuse disclosing these official, vice-presidential records—unless it has something it wants to hide.
