This has been true a long time.Idiots and stupid about sums it up. I happen to have a nice, bright, yellow Gadsden Flag t-shirt and without knowing any of this stupidity, acquired it as a sign of defiance. I keep looking at the word but don't see a skin color :rolleyes:

Interestingly enough, they resurfaced during covid lockdown.

Interestingly enough, they resurfaced during covid lockdown.

Keep a close eye on some of those. After Roe was overturned the flag was coopted with a vagina instead of a snake. Your neighborhood may vary. :hide:

Considering the education of most TEACHERS, that they knew that the flag was US war symbol is probably good. That they felt compelled to act without doing any checking at all, (whether such action would be appropriate or not in any situation being another point), is illustrative of why the schools are such an abysmal failure in too many instances. A little knowledge, can be very dangerous indeed, when coupled with wrong/incomplete information.

It seems now that the administrators are now saying that the flag is now PERCEIVED by some as being a symbol of racism....

Year ago back in the hippie days I had that patch on my Levi jacket.
I put it there had nothing to do with racism but instead it was a warning to all comers, do not ffkk with me!
And my friend, I damn sure meant every word of that warning. I was young, tough as nails, loved to fight.
I never started fights, but I damn sure properly finished many, many of them.--Tyr
