IMO, Trump warrants an investigation about Jan 6th. Biden warrants multiple investigations for corruption. The discrepancy is my issue.

Exactly. The corruption of one does not negate the corruption of the other. The unequal treatment though is more than worthy of investigation and punishment and that is on the GOP.
