Haven't decided whether or not I agree with this. Not a fan of cluster munitions. On the other hand, using them is Ukraine's, not the US's choice.
Nobody's asking the right questions. Why can't the US supply Ukraine with conventional artillery rounds? Because Biden has done nothing to replenish them.
Read a separate article a few days back they're having to "reinvent" stingers because many of the components are no longer available. IIRC, it isn't to refill our stocks; rather, to sell abroad. At least someone's tooling up:rolleyes:
My concern is as usual Biden purposefully bleeding this country dry at every turn.

Like the days of LBJ all over again. When did CONGRESS authorize anyone to GO TO WAR again?
This all reminds me of the year, 1964, when my mother worried so much about
how "I" her oldest son...might end up in another war LBJ and his Dem cronies
really wanted to get rolling...with...as they called everyone like me in the
military...AN ADVISOR.
And now...a beautiful Wall in Washington is a SILENT reminder of Politicians Who LOVE WAR...
Just like they love it today, by scaring Americans, and secretly placing ADVISORS in country AGAIN.

Hung by their own words my friend. Of course, that means they and their "media" will do everything possible not matter how infantile to spin it away and convince the public to ignore it. Such a bunch of corrupted people never take responsibility for their actions. -Tyr

Minus the political posturing using a lethal weapon of war ...
Cluster munitions are effective. The residual effect of unexploded munitions later killing civilians is the issue. Is the residual effect worth immediate effectiveness?
IMO, the success rate of the round leaves much to be desired. Nit only is it a quality control issue from a production standpoint, it's a "Who cares about some dumbass, peon redneck farmers getting killed years later?" issue from a political decision making standpoint made by people who won't ever have to suffer the consequences of their decisions. That's a quality control issue as well:rolleyes:
