Until we get an administration that has read the Constitution and understands its responsibility to it, patch jobs mean about as much as Biden and Mayorkas claiming the Border is currently secure. Nothing.
Enforcement of existing law would mostly solve the issue. It just won't suit the politics of purposefully disenfranchising US citizens and replacing it with cheaper and presumably more willing and grateful (not to mention less-educated)labor.
