While technically correct, it's hardly precedent-setting for Russia to blindly throw troops at a wall until they run out or the wall cracks. Their instruction manuals on strategy and tactics consists of frontal assault by overwhelming force. Whether or not they have the manpower and materiel to do so.
Not that there're any tears for them around here, but the Wagner group's complaint is valid. Regular Russian army bureaucrats have left their asses hinging in the wind. Should be more careful who you merc yourself out to.
I'm surprised at Putin not stepping in. The Wagner Group has been WAY more successful than the Russian Army.
