Putin trying the "back door" to using nukes without "using nuclear weapons" . Result will be the same.

Something about this story and both Ukraine and Russia shelling the facility doesn't make sense, at least not with the standard story being told.
I can't put my finger on it right now, but with both sides of the conflict knowing what it means if that plant blows the story just seems odd.

I take it for what it is, as it is: was Ukraine shelling it's own facility before Russia invaded and began shelling Ukraine? I'm just not seeing even propaganda/sympathy being worth contaminating my own yard for a thousand years. Not to mention Ukraine has to know the West/NATO is watching its every move through a microscope. Some would use any excuse at all to point a finger and abandon already begrudged support.
On the other hand, Putin breeching a nuclear facility in Ukraine's yard doesn't mean jack to him, given his complete disregard for human life. He blames Ukraine so he can't be accused of using nukes while accomplishing the same result. Look at how careless he was sending his own troops into Chernobyl. If he thinks that little of his own troops.
I do believe Putin's ultimate goal is the same as Stalin's: Ukraine without any Ukranians.
