It is doubtful, in my way of reasoning, that Xi would do anything to stop his influx of US dollars. We borrow money from China upon which we pay huge amounts of interest and then the US government gives monetary aid back to China. America also buys all of the cheap Chinese built crap that Xi’s govt. manufactures knowing that it has a fully planned obsoletion lifetime.

I doubt that unless the gravy train is to end that Xi will do much of anything.

Taiwan, however, is a different story with regard to Xi. He would squash Taiwan without a second thought and suffer the consequences because at the end of the day, China owns us.
