Well, we see what is really important to them. Their power is more important then making sure the troops are funded


SR 359-To authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2008 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes.

That is why im surprised. Cause despite his problems he is usually sincere. Im rather disappointed in him here.

I am not so sure about McCain. He is oppossed to "torture" but won't say whatt he considers torture. He was against the tax cuts - which really pissed mr off. And his stand on illegals was the straw that broke the camels back

That is why the title of this thread was 5 Dems - McCain is a Dem in my book

They're chickens. They didn't vote because they don't want to be seen as "supporting the war".

Whoever said McCain isn't really republican is right on.

It does show what their priorities are. Pandering for votes is more important to them, then the troops fighting in a war
