Since IL has some of the strictest gun control laws in the Nation, what exactly was done to check this fruitloop's mental health? Not like he didn't telegraph his blows on the internet.

FYI, IL State Police do a background check on each individual applying for a Firearm Owner's ID card. Without the card, you can't possess nor purchase firearms and/or ammo. Wonder what went wrong?:rolleyes:

This is the sort of thing that makes me want to switch back to capitol punishment... possibly publicly... with the firing squad starting with fingers and toes and working towards more vital parts of the body. Or maybe shooting him 42 times starting with the least deadly injury that he inflicted on others. New reality series; Naked and Afraid: Squirrelly Coward in Prison edition possibly. Just spit balling here.

Father of Highland Park Shooter, Who Helped Him Obtain His Guns, Claims His Son Has ‘Good Morals’

The father of the man who fatally shot seven people during a Fourth of July celebration has done an interview with the media, during which he claimed that his murderous son had “good morals.”
Speaking to ABC 7 Chicago, Robert Crimo Jr., who ran for mayor of the town where the shooting occurred in 2018, took no responsibility for helping his son obtain guns.

“Thirteen hours earlier, I spent almost an hour with them sitting in the yard talking about the planet, the atmosphere and nothing. Great mood. I’m just shocked,” Crimo said. “I think, three days before the fourth, my wife had asked him, ‘hey, do you have any plans for the fourth?’ And he simply said, ‘no.'”

The elder Crimo said that he does not know what his son’s motives were and would like to ask him.

If that dad could not look at his worthless, crazy son and seeit , then yes he too must have had a hammer hit to the head a few too many times, imho. The demented son looks like he tried to be a black gangsta rapper and like most things, he failed miserably at that gig too.
