Prett wacky. I read that same story.

I can see some good with things like this - but definitely some weird and scary crap too.

personally, believe it or not. i don't buy this one.
In general I don't think there will ever be truly Sentient AI.
Maybe one or more AI running amuck in a very narrow way causing problems
or spiraling out of control like a car without a driver.

But not anything like the movies portray.
A real full orbed self aware thinking mind.
