Right To Repair: More Important Than Ever

DIY electic vehicle conversions are already on the market. The time is now to stand up for Right to Repair before special interests and rent seekers rig the EV market. We don't want the Teslas of the world to short-circuit (pun intended) the EV market. EVs become very cost effective when that V8 in your 20 year old Land Cruiser throws a rod. As the technology matures, installing that electric vehicle system might not be any more expensive than replacing that V8 IF we don't allow bureaucracy and special interests cause the conversion to be artificially expensive.

One of the ways the game is rigged is by making systems impossible to repair unless you have devices that are either very expensive or not available to the general public.
