Many of my in-laws have spent their entire lives near open sewage, contaminated water, cholera, yellow fever, malaria, etc., etc., etc. All those "hazards" do NOT result in a population that is always sick. I wonder if sanitation and all this concern about germs is even useful. When people live in unsanitary conditions their immune systems become much stronger. My youngest son already contracted COVID and refuses to get the vaccine. If push comes to shove he wants to be exposed to COVID as a natural vaccine. If the government is serious about COVID immunity, why not offer programs to volunteer in hospital COVID wards for those who want to maximize their exposure to the virus?
