Biden on Approval Ratings: People Are Getting ‘Inaccurate Information’ ‘About Their Situation’ and Are Worried about COVID

On Friday’s broadcast of NBC’s “Tonight Show,” President Joe Biden said that part of the issue with his approval ratings is that “people are getting so much inaccurate information to them. I don’t mean about me, but about their situation.” And are “being told that Armageddon’s on the way. The truth is, the economy’s growing more than it has at any time in close to 60 years.” Biden also stated that fear of coronavirus is another reason for people being worried and acknowledged that there is inflation in areas that impact people.

No they/we aren't. The claim of economy growing is bullshit, that's inflation. And not as much worried about covid as much as knowing he is in charge.

Biden said, “Well, look, here’s the deal, I think that it’s — we’ve been in less than a year. A lot has happened, and look, people are afraid. People are worried. And people are getting so much inaccurate information to them. I don’t mean about me, but about their situation. And so, they’re being told that Armageddon’s on the way. The truth is, the economy’s growing more than it has at any time in close to 60 years. The unemployment rate’s down to 4.2%. It’s going to go lower, in my view. We do have inflation on things that, in fact, matter to people’s lives. You know, when you show up at a gas station and it’s $3.50 at your pump, although now because I took 50 billion — million barrels out of [the Strategic Petroleum Reserve], the gasoline is down below $3 in many places. It’s going to come down. It’s going to move.”

Armageddon isn't on the way, Joe Biden is on the way.

Yes, a lot has happened in that year. And predominantly negative regarding the president's handling.

He continued, “But in the meantime, people are worried, and they’re worried about whether or not they have a brother, a sister, uncle, or aunt who has gotten COVID. And they don’t know what to do about it. I mean, so, there’s a lot of anxiety. And my job is to be straightforward, shoot from the shoulder, let people know exactly what the truth is, and lay out how I’m going to try to make life better for them.”

And yet he zig zags all over the map. Lies and misleads (like Fauci) & is screwing up all of our lives.

If you look at inflation using the old basket of prices and services ( they changed the 'basket' composition to fake the truth ) , today's inflation rate is 25% plus , rather than the

official joke figure of ca7% .

This is something that has always pissed me off in our society, people that cannot or refuse to take personal responsibility.

Biden screws everything up and yet nothing is his fault. Apparently none of us are bright enough to see facts and the truth.

Joe Biden Blames Coronavirus Anxiety and Misinformation for Disastrous Polling Numbers

President Joe Biden continues to get poor ratings from the American people on his presidency, prompting the president to blame misinformation and coronavirus anxiety.

A CNBC poll released Friday showed Biden with only a 41 percent approval rating with Americans giving him only a 46 percent approval rating on handling the coronavirus, and only 37 percent approving of his handling of the economy.

Biden laughed off his poor approval numbers during a virtual appearance with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, joking that he did not even look at them anymore.

But he ultimately blamed the ongoing coronavirus pandemic for making people upset with his job performance.

“Look people are afraid. People are worried. And people are getting so much inaccurate information,” he said, talking about the economy. “They’re being told that Armageddon is on the way.”

He also spoke about Americans experiencing fear about their family members contracting coronavirus.

“They don’t know what to do about it. There’s a lot of anxiety,” he said.
