To paraphrase Andy Griffith: "Not nary a word about customer safety".
Best Buy was one of the many companies to update their website and social media pages after the death of George Floyd and after the shooting injury of Jacob Blake.None of the men shot by Rittenhouse were black.
The email from Mark Irvin, Chief inclusion talent and diversity officer was sent to all employee resource group members and read, “The verdict in Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial stirs many emotions, and it’s another difficult moment for our nation.”
“While these events can be challenging and deeply hurtful, I hope you will take a moment to reflect on the values that unite us as a company and as a nation. We can do better, as each of us as individuals, allies and human beings press together for better outcomes.”
The predictable result.
Two large groups of people walked into two Best Buy locations in Minnesota and stole as much as they could before fleeing. This was the latest incident in a recent spike in “flash mob” thefts.
