Good to see Team GB easily leading all other top nations ----- on a population pro rata basis --- yet another super success story .

It emphasises that the Empire still flourishes as the most dynamic results hub on the planet .

Is it their culture , blood , breeding , or , all of these advantages plus the general accolade of them being God's Favourite children ?

As American tourists say ---- who needs Heaven when GB is so near .


Guess America went badly off course when it became obsessed with minority sports like Baseball and Basketball . We need to get this people back to mainstream activities,

even though in fairness Cricket will always be far too complex for them. And particularly given their inept ability ----- after adapting the British school girl game of

Rounders which they play as something called Baseball . But not very well .

Having said all of that , it seems fitting that the US lies in third position as general talk these days is of it having slipped to become a third world power . We will not rub salt in
