I recieved this 11 question test which will match you up with a candidate that fits your views on the issues.

:link:http://www.wqad.com/Global/link.asp?L=259460

Lets take the test and then post who it says we should vote for. See if this agrees with who we are supporting.

I'll go first. I took the test and scored a 43 for Tom Tancredo. I haven't really decided on who I am leaning for in the upcoming election yet.

Duncan Hunter came up on top, but as for candidates who have a chance, Fred Thompson was on top.

He was the highest "frontrunner" on mine too. What was your score?

I keep telling you, Duncan is the man.

If he fits our ideals so well, he should be the front-runner.

I been telling yall Duncan is the real deal. I just wish he'd get more air time on the debates and on television.

Obama and Clinton tied at 33 points: I personally prefer Obama. Giuliani was the best-scoring Republican at 20. (He's also the only declared Repub I'd even think about voting for.)

I like ron paul for this reason. He challenges you to think, even if you agreewith 0% of what he says, and no what party a candidate is in, you gotta give um credit, for being intellctually honest, and brave enough to ask the tough, unpopular questions.

Ron Paul

Ron Paul. He is crazy for sure but he makes more societal sense than anything or anyone the republicans have offered so far in this election cycle.

I don't have one, yet. Seriously I can't get excited about any. I tilted Guiliani early on, but there is too much garbage.

Thompson, I don't know enough to really decide.

Romney is also unknown to me, but he's got major bucks. He's my guess at this point in time for Republican nod.

Thompson-Hunter tied=54

The perfect ticket...

Go back to the original post, this has an 11 question poll that will match you to someone based on the issues. Not scientific, just for fun.

Tancredo, 43. Hunter, 41. Thompson, 38.

At the bottom: a four way tie (Richardson, Edwards, Obama and Clinton), with 10. Kucinich and Dodd with 3 apiece.

Me too. This was just a fun poll. There is no way I can see anyone actually using this to choose a candidate.

True. But it's a handy aid for discovering that a candidate you haven't yet considered is actually quite similar to you on the issues. Unfortunately, many candidates just can't seem to get their message out there once the leaders have been identified. I think it is a shame that a select few get all of the press so early. Many people don't bother to get to know the others, and then it's too late.

I was kind of impressed by the fact that it comes so close to my existing opinions, though.

If that's true for everyone else here, I'm dealing with a very weird bunch... :uhoh: ;)

The results were predictable. I scored 15 on like five candidates all of which were Democrats.

Immanuel

35 Brownback, 32 McCain, 31 Hunter.

What is really scary for me is how much I agree with McCain on. I would not vote for that whiney-arsed cry baby if he was holding a gun to my head in the voting booth.

What I would like to know (since I am new to the site) is how some of the liberals on site scored with the Democrats who are running. Just curious. It seems like all the Democrats were way down on my list (which does not surprise me) and on the lists of others who have posted to this thread. I am actually curious if this "poll" really gives a legitimate test or if, maybe, it is designed to put Conservatives up top.
