so..it appears they are learning to fly....keeping it low...slow...Up & down...left and right...CHina will have to get busy to make spare parts for it.

I know what you're thinking that just the idea of having them is infuriating, but I'm looking at what they actually got. Helicopters. No avionics or weapons systems. They'll crash half of them learning to fly. The other half the pilots were probably trained in the US.

Iran flew F-4 Phantom II's for years after we quit. The North Vietnamese used our weapons on us while we were there. It's part of the price for doing business.

I've ALWAYS said this: Before you put one damned boot on the ground, have a clear objective, complete the mission, then get out. Don't leave shit behind. Actually, MY Gunny taught me that :)

No one ... not the government, the people, the military politicians don't care think about ANY of this BEFORE they commit. If you aren't going in to win, then don't go. It gets people killed and makes us look stupid as a Nation.
