UPDATED 8:28 AM PT – Sunday, August 22, 2021National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said the U.S. was focused on the threat of an ISIS attack on Afghanistan. In an interview on Sunday, Sullivan said he couldn’t give a precise number of Americans remaining in Afghanistan, but said it was believed to be several thousand.
He went on to say the goal was to move people as rapidly and safely as possible. He added the U.S. had the capacity to get large numbers of Americans safe passage to the airport.
Sullivan noted the government was putting the highest priority on stopping or disrupting potential Islamic State attacks.
“Our commanders on the ground have a wide variety of capabilities that they are using to defend the airfield against a potential terrorist attack,” he stated. “We are working hard with our Intelligence community to try to isolate and determine where an attack might come from.”

Sullivan added the military has been working with the Intelligence community to isolate and determine where an attack might come from. This comes as reports mentioned troops have been forced to find alternative routes to the airport and cited the threat of ISIS attacks against Americans and Afghan allies.

Out of "nowhere" comes the threat of ISiS. Let's see what we have in Felix's bag of tricks that will deflect attention from what an incompetent CinC Biden is. I know. Let's try ISIS. Haven't heard of them in awhile

Granted, I have no idea what became of ISIS. What I am trying to wrap my head around is: The Taliban is going to let ISIS march in and operate with impunity in a country they have fought to gain control of for 20 years and have that goal within their reach?

If ISIS is an actual threat in Afghanistan, why are we just now hearing of it? Would not the presence of ISIS have altered the US's plan to leave? One would think so. One with a lick of sense, anyway.

Not being one to believe our government and/or MSM, I am at this time going on the fact I haven't seen the "ISIS" name invoked by any other country's news agencies.

ISIS was created by Obummer . Heading the key western faction within Deep State .

China now rules Afghanistan and will reward Obummer for his help .

But now ISIS is just for MSM hacks to scribble nonsense about . Because by default China now owns ISIS via Taliban

It will probably be disbanded if not eviscerated --- ISIS to WASWAS .China will still want just as much as the US did from A and will continue the trafficking and drug

trades but in relative peace and quiet .

If that happens the US will have no funds for their Black Ops and they will fall further behind technologically .A third world power as we watch .

Easy if you play Chess .

ISIS along with Taliban and AL Queda have all been around Afghanistan and Pakistani for duration. They are symbiotic. There are credible reports of all 3 at checkpoints.
