Biden and administration ran with the vaccine pushing from day one, maybe even earlier. They want 100% participation and are making those that don't wish to into enemies, which is bullshit for various reasons. First some wanted herd immunity, then stated it couldn't happen and now pushing towards that again. :rolleyes: In fact, dumbass stated that there was no such thing. This man cannot make up his mind on what position to take.
I think that they are now making enemies out of non-vaccinated as stated. They are and will make it sound as if all unvaccinated will die soon. They will lead a route to make them pariahs in order to try and push them into getting vaccinated.
Folks are getting bolted down, getting fired, getting chastised and much more.
People should be able to make up their own minds based on their own personal decisions. Age and comorbidities and location and travel plans and others living with you.... so many personal factors may go into ones decision, and I think that should be respected. This isn't your everyday flu shot or normal vaccines that get years and years of testing prior to release.
I personally am OK with this particular jab, regardless of what some may think. Some are against it and will find any little detail to show why others shouldn't get it. Some are for it, and will find death results of the unvaccinated to make their position. It's not that simple. A decision with ones doctor is a good way to approach.
I hate this mandate shit though. Whether that be masks, jabs, not going out... I think an awful lot of unconstitutional actions have been taken and I wish we would have had like 500 lawsuits out there already deciding this so that it won't continue in the future.
And democrats want to now mandate even more, mandating masks in schools and kids. How about worrying about elderly folks, perhaps in hospitals and nursing homes, and protecting those most vulnerable? Nahhhhh.
TX Lt. Gov. Patrick & as I saw from Desantis last week - telling Biden to do is fu**ing job all the way around before telling others when to wear a dang mask. He wants to be some form of hero regarding covid - but at the same time, likely allowing thousands and thousands to just walk across the border, lack of appropriate testing, give them an envelope of money and sending them to parts unknown in our country. And that's just the beginning. 'Ol Joe hasn't a clue.

Mandates, Requirements Will Not Persuade Majority of Unvaccinated to Get the Jab
A majority of unvaccinated Americans indicated that they will not be easily persuaded to get vaccinated for the Chinese coronavirus — neither by employer mandates, nor pleas from doctors or politicians — an Economist/YouGov survey released this month found.
The survey, taken July 31 – August 3, 2021, among 1,500 U.S. adults, listed a series of scenarios among the unvaccinated to gauge if they would change their minds.
According to the survey, 18 percent of respondents are not planning on getting the jab, and 9 percent remain unsure.
Only six percent of unvaccinated respondents said they would get the jab if their doctor urged them too, while 74 percent said they would not, and 20 percent remained unsure. Similarly, only four percent said they would get the jab if their state’s governor urged them to, while 81 percent said no.
In what is perhaps more telling, 75 percent of the unvaccinated said they would not receive the jab, even if their employer required them.

Over a Quarter of Americans Not Planning to Get Vaccinated
Over a quarter of Americans are either not getting vaccinated or remain unsure if they will, an Economist/YouGov survey released this week found.
The survey asked respondents to describe their “personal situation regarding COVID-19 vaccines.”
A majority of those surveyed, 60 percent, said they have completed their vaccine series, while six percent said they started the process. Another seven percent said they plan to get vaccinated.
However, 18 percent said they are “not” getting vaccinated, and another 9 percent said they remain unsure.
The survey listed a series of scenarios to see whether the unvaccinated could be persuaded. However, only six percent said they would be persuaded if their doctor urged them to, eight percent said they would be if their employer required it, and four percent said they would be persuaded if their governor urged them to do it.
The survey comes as politicians begin to deem the voluntary phase of getting vaccinated “over,” hoping to use overreaching government edicts to trigger the desired behavior in the remainder of the population that has, so far, refused to get the jab.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Cross Connection,” Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) stated that requiring children to wear masks in school is “a life-saving measure. So, the federal government, at some point, will have to step in.” And said he supports “stringent policies that will protect everyone, particularly those people that have already vaccinated themselves and don’t want to have a breakthrough episode, as we see happening all over the country.”
Espaillat said, “Well, the CDC has established that we should wear masks. In New York City, the mayor has come out for mandatory screening of vaccine cards or a 72-hour negative test, COVID test. So, [these are] practical measures. … There are far too many breakthrough cases. And so, people that are not vaccinated are prolonging this pandemic. We are feeding the virus when we don’t vaccinate or we don’t wear a mask. And so, these are, particularly, in schools, with the children going back now in September, how could we not think of making sure that our kids are protected, that they all have to wear a mask in school? TX Lt. Gov. Patrick: ‘Hypocrisy’ for Biden to Push School Masks While Open Border Means More Unaccompanied Minors in Schools
On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) responded to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona criticizing Texas for its stance on school mask mandates by stating that he doesn’t want to hear from officials in the Biden administration “until they close the border. This is just hypocrisy.” Because the unaccompanied minors who are entering the U.S. will “be in a school somewhere, somewhere in America.”
Patrick said, [relevant remarks begin around 1:10] “I don’t even want to hear from him or the president or anyone else in the Biden administration until they close the border. This is just hypocrisy. How dare you tell Florida or Texas or any other state what to do in our state regarding the coronavirus, when you’re allowing, yesterday, we apprehended 800 children who were alone crossing the border. … And again, before they say anything to adults or children about COVID and what you should do, close the damn border. Then maybe we’ll think you’re serious. But until then, just be quiet.”
He added that the unaccompanied minors will “be in a school somewhere, by the way. They’ll be in a school somewhere, somewhere in America.”
